Line Cook

JOB DESCRIPTION

Accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items.

REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Must adhere to all food safety and quality regulation • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including but not limited to tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, burners, refrigeration equipment • Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications • Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables and other food items in ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment according to restaurant guidelines • Knows and complies consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures • Follows proper plate presentation and garnish...

Chef

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a cook, you'll set up your station and participate in prep. You should be passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipes and take direction from the Chef or Sous Chef and also explore your creativity where appropriate. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are above all a team player.

Server

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Server position is responsible and accountable for the delivery of food and beverage orders to our Guests in a timely and efficient manner; and must be able to positively interact with Guests and team members while providing exceptional service. Personal hygiene is a must and appropriate uniforms and attire will be worn in accordance with the El Santo Cantina policy

REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed and dressed in an appropriate uniform. • Greet, seat and serve Guests in a prompt, friendly and professional way. • Must possess excellent knowledge of the Menu and Specials. • Present menus, take/serve orders promptly and accurately, answering questions and/or making recommendations. • Follow-up with Guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, refill drinks, and take any additional orders. • Ring up bills accurately...
